About Nutrition Revitalised
Nutrition Revitalised is a specialised dietetic consultation service based in Melbourne, VIC. Led by Accredited Practising Dietitian, Meyya Venkat, the practice offers services in the NDIS space and for individuals with PCOS, fertility, chronic diseases, paediatric concerns and more, with both telehealth and in-clinic consultations available for Australian and international clients. Meyya holds a wealth of experience in managing adults and children with a diverse range of concerns, providing services across 4 hospitals and 5 clinics. Nutrition Revitalised is rapidly expanding and we are looking to onboard a new team member.
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Dietitian, requiring 1-2 days/week on a casual basis. The Dietitian will be responsible for providing services primarily around disability-specific nutrition (fussy eating, weight management), mental health (eating disorders, malnutrition) and chronic disease management. The role will require some travelling to varied locations within metropolitan areas (predominantly the West and Southeast at this stage). There is flexibility for some remote work based on caseload requirements. Hours are flexible depending on your availability and you may choose your days of work.
Qualifications
- Relevant Dietetics degree recognised by Dietitians Australia
- Experience in providing nutritional counseling and medical nutrition therapy
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Have own public indemnity and liability insurance (or willing to obtain)
- Have an ABN number
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Relevant skills for an ideal candidate include:
- Experience with telehealth consultations
- Ability to multitask and take on a varied caseload
- Minimum 1 year working experience in a clinic setting
- Experience working with adults and paediatric nutrition will be highly regarded
- Ability to converse in any additional language apart from English will be a bonus
- Any additional training completed around paediatric nutrition, mental health or chronic disease management
