About the speaker:

Allison Blackmer, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS, FCCP, FASPEN is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and Pediatric Pharmacotherapy and is a fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She brings over a decade of clinical experience as a clinical pharmacy specialist, having worked across multiple pediatric acute and post-acute care settings and as a faculty member at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy/CS Mott Children’s Hospital and the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy/Children’s Hospital Colorado. From 2021–2023, Allison served as the Director of Clinical Practice, Quality and Advocacy at the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). In 2025, Allison re-joined the Nestlé Health Science team as a Manager of Medical Affairs and continues to serve as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Colorado.

Allison has authored over forty peer-reviewed publications, several book chapters, conducted grant-funded research, and given numerous lectures on a variety of clinical topics including nutrition support, gastroenterological disorders, short bowel syndrome, and the medical management of children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She is enthusiastic about clinical nutrition and is excited to share her passion with others through education and research.
