About the Lunch & Learn:

Navigating insurance coverage can be one of the biggest barriers to patient access, especially when specialized nutrition support is required. In this practical webinar led by Trish Skiendziel RD, CNSC we’ll take a deep dive into insurance fundamentals and real-world strategies to strengthen your advocacy efforts and improve patient outcomes. You’ll also hear a firsthand account from a current patient, who will share her personal nutrition journey and experience navigating insurance coverage barriers.

Learn how to:

  • Optimize assessment, documentation, and collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Navigate insurance complexities with confidence
  • Advocate for cost-effective coverage that supports patient care

Designed for dietitians across practice settings, this session will equip you with practical tools, confidence, and language to advocate more effectively for your patients within complex insurance systems and help ensure nutrition care isn’t limited by coverage alone. Plus, you’ll have the chance to connect with like-minded colleagues and get your questions answered in a live Q&A.
