Join us for an interactive webinar with Accredited Practising Dietitian Lauren Gladman, to explore real life case study examples of children with complex feeding issues. Lauren will present cases ranging from reduced appetite from stimulant medications in children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, to sensory processing disorders, and tube feeding dependency. Lauren provides you with practical tips around how and when you can utilise different feeding techniques like food chaining, tube weaning and gradual exposure to optimise nutrition in this challenging population.
About the speaker:
Lauren Gladman has worked as a paediatric dietitian for 18 years. She has worked in tertiary hospitals in Australia & the UK and has had her own private practice in Southern Sydney for 13 years. She held a Senior Paediatric dietitian position at St George Hospital for 11 years, then moving solely to private practice in 2020. Lauren specialises in food allergy management, infant nutrition, tube feeding and paediatric feeding disorders particularly in disability and Autistic clients. She has been on the advisory panel for the NSW Allied health guide to feeding difficulties in children, Go4Fun weight management program and paediatric HEN guidelines. Lauren has presented on a range of paediatric topics including complex feeding management, paediatric feeding disorders, food allergy, prebiotics, ADHD and Anorexia Nervosa. Lauren is a member of Dietitians Australia and ASCIA peak allergy body for Australia and New Zealand. She is passionate about working within a team and empowering families to use nutrition to benefit their health by providing practical information translated from research.
