There’s huge potential for specific prebiotics and probiotics to support gut health and overall wellbeing. New research is now starting to uncover how pre- and probiotics may even play a role in the management of several gastrointestinal conditions. In this webinar presented by Dr Jason Hawrelak, you’ll learn about some of the new and novel research in the field of pre- and probiotics in relation to constipation, diverticular disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Jason will also touch on new innovations in the practical application of pre- and probiotics.

 

About the speaker:

 

Dr Jason Hawrelak is a clinician, researcher, and senior lecturer at the University of Tasmania with over 20 years’ experience in the field of natural medicine with an emphasis on gastrointestinal disorders. He has a strong interest and PhD in the field of the gastrointestinal microbiota, looking at the clinical application of pre- and probiotics. Dr Hawrelak has authored 20 textbook chapters and 30 research papers. He is the founder and head of research at ProbioticAdvisor.com.
