About the webinar:
The ketogenic diet has been used to manage seizures since Hippocrates, but its modern role in treating epilepsy is only just beginning to be fully realised. Join neurologist and epileptologist Dr Tania Farrar, and dietitian Dr Neha Kaul, as they explore the science and practice of dietary therapy in epilepsy. Together, they’ll highlight the effectiveness of ketogenic diet therapy across different patient groups, including its application in status epilepticus in the intensive care unit, and discuss side effects, tolerability and monitoring in real-world practice. You’ll also gain insights into emerging indications such as headache disorders and brain cancer, with practical guidance for dietitians supporting patients on these therapies.
