About the speakers:

Olivia Myers, RDN, LD background in dietetics and ecogastronomy has shaped a career that has oscillated between restaurants, hospitals and agriculture, and led to her work today at Lowcountry Street Grocery (LSG). She founded GroceryRx in 2017 with an intent to merge good food and healthcare, knowing that high-quality, nutrient-dense food is the basis of wellness and disease prevention and treatment. Olivia’s food and nutrition experience ranges from homesteading and being a chef, to working as a dietitian in remote Alaska, at therapeutic wilderness programs and in inpatient and outpatient care settings. Â

Katherine Bennett MPH, RD has worked as a pediatric dietitian since 2003 and has become a specialist in pediatric nutrition support, serving children of all ages through CHOC Children’s Hospital Gastroenterology and Nutrition program. Katherine is passionate about enteral nutrition support in the pediatric population and strives to make tube feeding as easy and normal as possible for clinicians, patients, and families alike. Katherine is a published author and has spoken on the local and national level on pediatric tube feeding and blenderized tube feeding, encouraging further education and support of real food-based tube feeding.​
