About the speakers & sessions:

Fiber + Prebiotics: The Dynamic Duo to Optimize Gut Health & Overall Well-Being with Registered Dietitian Erin Judge. Did you know these two everyday nutrition powerhouses can have an immense impact on digestion, the gut microbiome and whole-body health? In this session, gut health dietitian Erin Judge will cut through the confusion by clarifying key fiber definitions, comparing different fiber types and spotlighting how fiber supports overall wellbeing. You’ll leave with realistic, client-friendly strategies, including simple breakfast solutions, to help clients boost daily fiber and prebiotic intake for stronger gut health and better long-term outcomes.

Personalized Nutrition: Tailoring Gut Wellness with Registered Dietitian Hannah Holscher, PhD. In this future-focused session, gut health researcher and dietitian Hannah Holscher explores the exciting world of personalized nutrition and why “one-size-fits-all” is a thing of the past. Hannah will unpack how individual factors like genetics, microbiome composition and lifestyle patterns shape gut wellness and influence how clients respond to food in real life. She’ll share an up-to-date look at how gut microbiome testing is rapidly evolving, what it can (and can’t) tell us right now, and where it may genuinely fit within evidence-based clinical practice. Leave with clarity, confidence and practical next steps to personalize gut care for every client.
Hannah Holscher, PhD, RDN is a Professor of Nutrition at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Associate Director of the Personalized Nutrition Initiative. Counseling for Gut Health: Language, Myths & Client Engagement with Registered Dietitian Tamara Duker Freuman. In this highly practical and myth-busting session, acclaimed GI dietitian Tamara Duker Freuman will show you how to translate complex gut health science into clear, confidence-building conversations that truly resonate with clients. Tamara will tackle the most common misconceptions head-on, from “detoxing” to “healing leaky gut,” and share smart, client-friendly language to reframe these topics.
