About the webinar:

About the speaker:

Dr. Manpreet Mundi, MD, is a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic specializing in endocrinology and clinical nutrition. He earned his MD from the Keck School of Medicine of USC after graduating cum laude from UC San Diego, and completed Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship training at the Los Angeles County–USC Medical Center. His clinical and research interests focus on obesity, malnutrition, and advanced nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition. Dr. Mundi holds leadership roles at Mayo Clinic and serves as Medical and Science Advisor for the Oley Foundation.

About the moderator:

Beth Taylor, DCN, FAND, FASPEN, FCCM, is a research scientist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, with 18 years of prior experience as a nutrition support specialist in the surgical/trauma ICU. She is an active member of ASPEN and SCCM, having served on national committees, as a past SCCM council member, and on the ACCM Board of Regents. Beth Taylor is an internationally recognized lecturer in critical care nutrition and a lead author of the 2016 SCCM/ASPEN Nutrition Guidelines. Her research focuses on optimizing recovery in critically ill patients through nutrition and rehabilitation.
