About the speaker:
Dr Ashisha Kallukaran (Dr. Ash) is a Brisbane-based dual specialist in Paediatric Immunology and Allergy as well as General Paediatrics. Dr. Ash was awarded her fellowship in 2021 by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Paediatric Immunology and Allergy as well as General Paediatrics after completing her specialist training through the Sydney Children’s and Queensland Children’s hospital networks. Dr. Ash has presented at Allergy conferences in Australia and has been part of multiple food allergy research projects. She is a member of ASCIA (Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy) and is actively involved in educating general practitioners, especially in rural settings, and has presented at Regional Food allergy updates. Dr. Ash is the founder and principal Paediatrician at PAEDIX a Brisbane based Specialist Paediatrics Clinic that caters to children with allergy, immunology, and general paediatric concerns. She is an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland, and a visiting medical specialist at the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
