We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Dietitian to join the Nutrition and Dietetics Department within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

As the Senior Medical Dietitian you will work within a collaborative, teams-based dietetics service model, to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services across Townsville University Hospital’s medical wards.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced clinical care, act as a senior reference point for complex cases, advocate for nutrition and dietetics within the service group and contribute to service development, quality improvement, and research. The role also includes supervising HP3 dietitians, students, and clinical assistants, strengthening team capability and supporting a culture of continuous learning. With a strong focus on person-centred care, you will use your clinical expertise, communication, and leadership skills to make a meaningful impact on service delivery and patient outcomes.
