Head and Neck Cancer Australia (HANCA) is seeking an experienced Dietitian to join our Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) Helpline team. The HNC Helpline is a free, confidential national navigational and support service for patients, carers and families of people living with Head and Neck Cancer.
Part-time 2 days/per week (0.4 FTE), 30.40 hours per fortnight.
Fixed term contract to 30 June 2027 with option to extend.
Working remotely (from home), within Australia AEST

Head and Neck Cancers have profound and lasting impacts on nutritional status, swallowing function, physical wellbeing, appearance, and emotional health, with many people experiencing significant psychological distress alongside complex nutritional challenges.
This role offers an opportunity for an experienced Dietitian to contribute to the design and delivery of a national navigational model of care, supporting people living with head and neck cancer across Australia to understand, access and navigate appropriate nutrition care and supportive care services.
As part of the HNC Helpline the Head and Neck Cancer Dietitian will deliver expert nutrition support, education, and evidence‑based advice, assist with symptom management, and help callers navigate the nutritional challenges associated with treatment and As part of the HNC Helpline, the Head and Neck Cancer Dietitian will provide evidence-informed information, practical guidance, and support, and assist callers to navigate the nutritional challenges associated with treatment and survivorship, including linking individuals with appropriate services and referral pathways where needed.
The position is suited to a Dietitian with demonstrated expertise in oncology, including Head and Neck Cancer who is committed to improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life.
