Nutrition to Nourish is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and reliable full-time dietitian. The position is diverse in both location setting and nutritional interventions. It involves: consultation in our private practise rooms for a range of conditions, including bariatric surgery, NDIS consultation both in-rooms and home visits for adults and paediatrics, inpatient private hospital consultation and nursing homes.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Nutrition to Nourish is seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and reliable full-time dietitian. This is a fantastic opportunity to diversify your skills in dietetics across inpatient and outpatient teams.

We are a motivated, friendly team of dietitian’s who provide one-on-one consultations in our private practise rooms. We also consult to the local private hospital, Calvary Health Care Riverina, nursing homes and are a NDIS provider.

We are seeking applicants for a permanent 9 days per fortnight dietitian position that involves:

  • Patient consultation in our private practise rooms. We see a diverse range of patients. We specialise and see all patients undergoing bariatric surgery in the region but also consult with PCOS, IBS, paediatrics, eating with awareness and improving relationships with food, weight loss, HEN nutrition and much more.
  • Patient consultation in the private hospital where we provide dietetics service to high dependency, ICU, medical, orthopedic, palliative care and rehab wards.
  • Patient consultation in nursing home settings.
  • Home visits for NDIS participants, this can include travel.

 

This position will suit a motivated individual who works well in a team environment and also independently in an acute setting. They require an ability to manage time efficiently. They must have enthusiasm and an ability to build great rapport with patients.

 

The position also requires excellent communication skills as you will be sharing caseloads and liaising with other dietitians in our team and within the region on a frequent basis.

We consult within the same suite as the bariatric surgery team, working very closely with both the surgeons and nurses. A dietitian from our team sees all patients who undergo bariatric surgery in the region and are very involved in their post-surgery care. We play a vital role and are very supported by the rest of the team and surgeons. This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of a passionate multi-disciplinary team.

You will need current APD or provisional APD status. Dietitian’s graduating at the end of this year are also encouraged to apply. Starting date is preferred between mid-July to early August 2026.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor or Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Full membership of DAA and APD or provisional APD status
  • Australian driver’s license and reliable mode of transport
  • Australian citizen or applicable visa
