Temporary full time rotational dietitian position at Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics provides a comprehensive dietetic service to Townsville Hospital and Health Service consumers across the lifespan and care continuum. We provide a breadth of role diversity across all clinical specialties in the hospital setting, as well as in rehabilitation, community health and aged care. Operating within a tertiary referral service, and via our outreach services, our reach extends to surrounding areas of North Queensland.  Our dietitians and nutrition assistants work collaboratively across the organisation, providing professional leadership to all dietetic services in the HHS to support service delivery, service development and appropriate standards of professional care.

This position works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the provision of quality nutrition and dietetic services to patients within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. This is a rotational position within the following caseloads: medical, surgical, oncology, cardiac, outpatients, renal, rehab, Charters Towers and aged care.
