Trisco Foods has 2 core divisions: Healthcare and Nutrition known as Precise Health and Traditional Foods, and we are currently undergoing an expansion phase and are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team to continue the growth.
At Precise Health we continually innovate and develop products that make a real difference to the lives of patients, particularly those suffering from Dysphagia. Customers in this side of the business include State Health Services, Public & Private Hospitals and Aged Care Organisations.
About the Role
- Reporting into our Head of Sales; you will strive to meet sales growth targets with new and existing customers
- Maintain and build strong relationships with existing customers and explore growth opportunities
- Demonstrate the company’s value proposition to customers
- Deliver product education sessions and supply a high level of customer service
- Work from the comfort of your home when you aren’t visiting customers
- Travel throughout your allocated territory to service your customers
- Maintain a high level of customer focus and a solution-driven attitude
- Meet and work with distributors – building and implementing growth plans
- Full training of our product range will be provided

About You
- You will have, or be working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field e.g. Business, Marketing, Commerce, International Business, Speech Pathologist, Dietitian, Nurse
- 2+ years experience in a similar role – Aged Care/ Healthcare is ideal; not a must.
- You will have experience in territory and account management
- Experience working toward KPIs and sales targets
- Ability to develop long term strategic relationships
- Ability to negotiate and close sales
- Effective communicator – verbal and written communication
- You will own a reliable car
- Team player – working collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Ability to adapt and work autonomously
- Strong planning and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Experience in Microsoft – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams would be advantageous
In lieu of sales experience, a strong clinical background and in-depth knowledge of the hospital and/or aged care environment would be highly regarded.
