Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) – Maternity Leave Cover
Subcontractor | 1-2 days/wk | Brisbane – Bald Hills, Auchenflower, Telehealth

Seeking an experienced and compassionate APD to provide maternity leave cover within a supportive private practice located in Bald Hills and Auchenflower. The position is suited to a clinician who values person-centred care, with strong interpersonal skills in building warm, therapeutic relationships and adapting care to clients with various nutritional and psychosocial needs.

Caseload includes:
Weight and chronic condition management
Eating disorders
Mental health, neurodiversity and trauma-informed care needs
Gastrointestinal disorders
Bariatric surgery

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, provide evidence-based nutrition counselling, education
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Liaise professionally with GPs and allied health professionals
Manage appointments and workload independently

Essential Criteria
APD status, minimum 2–3 years’ experience in private practice and above caseloads
Current ABN, PI insurance
Current driver’s licence, own vehicle and laptop
Current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Certificate

Position Details
Commencing mid-July, 1-2 days/wk for 10 months, with potential for extension
In-person and telehealth consultations
Access to individual clinic rooms within a well-established and respected wellness centre and specialist suite
