About the webinar:

Families and carers often provide much of the day-to-day support for a loved one recovering from an eating disorder. They plan and prepare meals, sit with distress at the table and watch for warning signs between appointments. Yet many families feel unsure of their role, or unsupported by the healthcare teams around them. In this webinar, Jane Rowan, Executive Director of Eating Disorders Families Australia (EDFA) and an eating disorder carer herself, shares valuable insights into the experiences and challenges families face throughout recovery. Discover practical ways to involve and equip carers as partners in care, strengthen communication and support nutritional recovery at home. Jane will also explore why carer wellbeing matters and highlight services and resources dietitians can confidently recommend to families throughout the recovery journey.

About the speaker:
