Dietitians are key players in achieving health for both people and planet… so how can we step up to the plate? Join this upcoming webinar to find out! Accredited Practising Dietitian and Co-Convenor of DA’s Food & Environment Interest Group, Nicole Senior, will present the latest evidence on healthy and sustainable eating patterns before diving into the key considerations for the upcoming review of the dietary guidelines. We’ll then be joined by chef Callum Hann, who will cook up a storm in a sustainable gastronomy demonstration, translating theory into practice.

 

About the speakers:

 

Nicole Senior is a highly experienced freelance Accredited Practising Dietitian working to promote nutritious, delicious and sustainable diets. She is a tertiary educator and culinary nutrition enthusiast committed to planetary health and healthy and sustainable food systems. Nicole is co-convenor of the DA Food and Environment Interest Group.

 

 

 

 

Callum Hann is a cook, author and passionate food educator, drawing inspiration from his Barossa Valley heritage and the best produce South Australia has to offer. Callum honed his craft from a young age, having worked in several restaurants in South Australia and Victoria starting at the age of 14. In 2012, he released his first cookbook “The Starter Kitchen”, and in 2014 released his second cookbook, “I’d Eat That!”. In 2016 Callum co-authored his third cookbook Quick. Easy. Healthy. featuring a collection of Sprout’s most popular cooking class recipes.
