About the Lunch & Learn:

Support at Home is reshaping community aged care, creating new opportunities for dietitians to influence nutrition outcomes. Drawing on almost 20 years of experience in aged care nutrition, Louise Murray will share tools to navigate this change with confidence. You’ll learn how to support providers to spot malnutrition risk early, navigate funding pathways, and apply effective interventions in community settings. Through real-world case studies, you’ll follow the full client journey, from screening and initial setup through to care planning and explore how oral nutrition support plays a role in proactive, early intervention. Walk away knowing how to position dietetic services as essential rather than optional, and build stronger partnerships with providers to deliver measurable outcomes for clients.

About the speaker:

Louise Murray is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, specialising in aged care nutrition and food services. She initially started her career in clinical nutrition in the hospital setting, but through family connections she started assessing menus in residential aged care 6 months after graduating. This ignited her mission to remove party pies and sausage rolls from aged care menus, and it has become her purpose to improve food quality for older people over the past 19 years. Louise’s consultancy Nosh Dietitians Co now specialises in both consulting to aged care organisations, seeing clients in the community and mentoring dietitians to become leaders in aged care nutrition.
