About the Masterclass:

When someone says ‘probiotics’, most of us jump straight to strains and CFU counts. But for your clients, the most useful starting point can be food itself. Join Dr Emma Beckett as she unpacks the ‘four Fs’ of probiotic foods, Food, Function, Fit and Frequency, and shows you how to turn the evidence into food-first advice you can use in your very next consult.

During this 90-minute interactive Masterclass:

  • Learn what actually determines whether a probiotic food delivers a benefit, including strain specificity, regular consumption and survivability;
  • Understand why probiotic yoghurt is more than just a source of probiotics, thanks to the dairy food matrix and its broader nutritional package;
  • Identify practical, food-first opportunities to recommend probiotic yoghurt across a range of clinical scenarios; and,
  • Apply behaviour change principles to help your clients successfully build probiotic yoghurt into everyday eating patterns.
About the speaker:

Dr Emma Beckett is a food & nutrition scientist, educator and communicator. Her work explores the intersections between food, nutrition, behaviour, health and society, with a focus on translating complex science into practical, engaging information.
