About the Lunch & Learn:
Magnesium is essential for over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body, yet many consumers fall short of recommended daily intake. While the benefits of magnesium for sleep, muscle tension, and digestion are often understood, emerging research shows magnesium in specific forms, specifically Magtein®, a clinically validated and patented form of magnesium L-threonate, can positively affect cognitive health*.
Join Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Dawn Jackson Blatner, as she shares what makes Magtein® unique, and reviews the latest research to support memory, concentration, mood, cognition, and more*. You’ll walk away with guidance to help your patients understand safety considerations, whether supplementation makes sense for their goals, and how to find a trusted supplement.
In this session attendees will be able to:
- Identify why magnesium is essential across the body and the effects of suboptimal intake on health
- Compare how the major forms of magnesium differ in absorption and functionality and understand how the patented form of magnesium L-threonate, Magtein®, can support cognition, concentration, memory, mood, sleep, and more
- Apply emerging research on Magtein® to counseling and patient guidance on quality supplementation, safety considerations, and practical use
