About the Lunch & Learn:
Muscle loss is a critical yet often under-assessed factor in cancer care, influencing treatment tolerance, recovery, and overall nutrition outcomes. In this practical Lunch & Learn, Rachel Fletcher, oncology dietitian and Founder of Upbeet Nutrition and Dietetics, shares how she successfully implemented muscle screening and assessment across private oncology centres in Sydney. You’ll learn how to select the right tools, integrate screening into routine workflows, and manage common barriers in busy clinical settings, with guidance informed by the COSA Implementation Toolkit. Rachel will also share how screening results directly shape nutrition goals, intervention timing, and patient engagement. You will walk away with clear, real-world strategies to confidently embed muscle screening into your oncology practice.
