About the webinar:

Low-profile feeding tubes can offer adult patients greater comfort and confidence in managing their nutrition care. In this session, dietitian Kim Johnston will explore when, why and how to consider transitioning from a standard to a low-profile feeding tube, sharing practical guidance on device selection, troubleshooting and collaborating with patients to support a smooth transition. You’ll also hear from two adult patients who use low-profile feeding tubes, as they share their experiences of making the switch, how it has enhanced their quality of life and what helped them feel supported throughout the process.

About the speaker:

Kim Johnston is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Team Lead Dietitian based in Sydney. Passionate about making nutrition care simple and personalised, she has extensive experience in enteral nutrition and feeding tubes. Kim previously worked as a Senior Oncology Dietitian and completed the SLHD Gastrostomy Workshop, extending her scope of practice.
