Dietitians & nurses: Preventing delirium through improved nutrition care

About the webinar:

Delirium is prevalent across all settings and age groups. In this Malnutrition Week ANZ webinar, Advanced Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Dr Adrienne Young, and Clinical Nurse Consultant, Margaret Cahill, explore how dietitians and nurses can collaborate to improve nutrition care for those with, or at risk of, delirium. During this interactive webinar, Adrienne and Margaret will discuss the different types of delirium, how to recognise patients at risk, and highlight why identifying delirium is important for all patient groups. Plus, they share practical strategies for dietitians working with nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide nutrition and mealtime support for delirium patients.
