When Brady Schulz prepared a business plan for a university assignment back in 2006, he never thought by 2023 that same business plan would come to fruition in a very successful way. Along with his team of 40 skilled dietitians, exercise physiologists, diabetes educators, allied health assistants and admin staff, Brady has provided over 80,000 consultations and 525,000 occasions of allied health services – and counting! In this podcast, Brady explains why his combination of skills in exercise physiology and dietetics has been invaluable to helping people change their lifestyle. He also shares why being a ‘yes man’ paved success in the early days of his business and touches on the importance of pivoting when the time is right, even if things aren’t always smooth sailing. 

 

Biography

Brady Schulz is an Advanced Sports Dietitian, Dietitian, Nutritionist, Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist and the Managing Director of Healthy Lifestyles Australia. Amongst management responsibilities, Brady specialises in nutrition for sporting performance and body composition. His previous experience has been in a wide variety of sectors including the AIS, QAS, QLD Firebirds, Brisbane Broncos, Royal Flying Doctors, QLD Health and consultancy in rural based healthcare.
