With a growing portfolio of scientifically proven microbial solutions, we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical and Market Access Manager to join our regional cross-functional team, supporting the commercialisation of Microbiome products and services across the Indo-Pacific health and nutrition industries.

The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated professional with experience working across internal functions, external consumer-branded clients and contract manufacturing partners during the pre-launch and launch phases of product development. The role will also involve liaising with regulatory bodies, industry bodies, external laboratories and other stakeholders to support the sales team and help clients achieve speed to market.

We are seeking a person with strong scientific credentials and relevant industry experience who can build peer-level relationships with technical, quality and regulatory experts across our internal and external stakeholders. This person will champion these areas within the Indo-Pacific team, drawing on Sacco System’s global manufacturing expertise and scientific developments to support current and future business opportunities.

This role offers flexibility to work from home or from our Brisbane, Queensland office, depending on your location within Australia.

The role is eligible to participate in the company’s annual bonus scheme.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide commercially relevant scientific input to support client innovation.
• Provide scientific expertise alongside our commercial teams to support the development of new consumer products using the Culture Science, or Culture Select products, and Services portfolio.
• Establish and maintain QA and QC agreements appropriate for Indo-Pacific markets.
• Ensure Indo-Pacific technical, quality and regulatory requirements are discussed and implemented at our manufacturing sites.
• Conduct internal and external training on the Culture Science and Culture Select product ranges.
• Manage quality and technical enquiries relating to our products.
• Maintain regional product technical dossiers suitable for multiple regulatory agencies.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, including the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia and other importation agencies, as required, including for the maintenance of registrations.
• Act as a conduit between the technical and quality teams at our global manufacturing sites and our regionally based business development teams.
• Attend industry and scientific trade shows, conferences and congress’
• Represent Sacco System on industry body committees or taskforces
• Lead Indo-Pacific market access initiatives
• Manage our external laboratory partnerships and support with technology transfers as required.
• Support our growing Research and University partnerships across the region

 

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Science which can include Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Technology, Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Science or similar
• Strong English communication in both written and verbal settings
• Demonstrated successes in building strong internal and external relationships through strong communication, influencing and collaborative networking skills
• You must be self-driven, culturally sensitive and able to work autonomously
• Demonstrated expertise in analysing clinical studies, and simplifying scientific concepts into marketable product ideas
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
• Previous experience in the consumer health industry, regulatory, technical or market access-related roles is ideal
• Experience with project management is advantageous
• Experience within sales/key accounts and/or marketing is advantageous
