Permanent Full-Time HP3 Dietitian at Townsville Hospital and Health Service

The purpose of this role is to deliver nutrition and dietetic services within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

This includes:

• Detailed clinical assessment, patient education, intervention and/or management within an interprofessional context.
• Clinical education, supervision of allied health assistants, and assistance with supervision of undergraduate students.
• Participation and contribution to quality improvement and research activities under the guidance of senior staff.

This is a rotational position, and the incumbent will be required to work across a range of clinical areas, including acute inpatient services (medical, surgical, oncology, cardiac, renal and paediatrics), rehabilitation, outpatient services, community health, aged care, and outreach services to rural facilities. The incumbent will be required to work across any of these areas as directed by service needs.
