Presenter: Shamala Ratnesar Shamala Ratnesar is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), author and speaker who wrote the first Australian book on omega-3 fatty acids. Shamala runs a clinical nutrition and lifestyle practice called The Total LIFE Diet Centre based in Concord, Sydney and specialises in weight control and prevention and management of diabetes and heart disease. Shamala was awarded the Woodhill prize by the DAA for her research into omega-3 fatty acids and has written three books – The Omega-3 Life Program (2002), The Omega-3 Diet Revolution (2006) and The Total LIFE Diet: The Ultimate Plan for Weight Loss and Lifelong Health (2012).
