About the webinar:

This webinar aims to introduce the topic of hospital meal ordering systems and outlines why it’s time to move to the digital age. The presenters will provide an overview of what an electronic meal ordering system encompasses, why hospital food and nutrition departments should make the move, as well as highlights the considerations for this transition.

About the speakers:

Carol Zeuchesner

Carol Zeuschner is the Assistant Director of Corporate Services at the Sydney Adventist Hospital (known as ‘the San’) with her role overseeing the Nutrition & Dietetics, Food Services, Hospitality, Cancer Support and Jacaranda Lodge accommodation services. Carol commenced working at the San as a Clinical Dietitian where she successfully implemented nutrition screening. Later, as Dietetics Manager and Project Manager her implementation of CBORD software into Food Service and Dietetics revolutionised patient interaction and processes. Over the course of her career, Carol has been involved in the NSW Food Authority Working Party Food Safety Program for Vulnerable People, and has assisted in research with the Australasian Research Institute. Carol has presented nationally and internationally on menu management systems.

Jennifer Hall is a Team Leader in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane. Jennifer has worked in the area of clinical dietetics for 11 years with a food service focus for the past 10 years.  She is passionate about supporting and driving quality clinical food services.  She has been involved in the implementation of electronic systems into two food service departments.
