About the speaker:

Assoc. Professor Avi Lemberg is a paediatric gastroenterologist with over 15 years of local and international experience in the management of children with gastrointestinal diseases. He is Head of Paediatric Gastroenterology at Sydney Children’s Hospital and Director of the Children’s Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Clinic (IBD) at The Sydney Children’s Hospital. his clinical research specialises in IBD, Probiotics, Gut Bacteria, Coeliac disease and Eosinophilic Oesophagitis (EoE)/Gut alltergy, and has published more than 100 peer reviewed publications and book chapters.
