About the webinar:

There is a strong link between undernutrition and frailty. In this webinar, Primary Healthcare Nurse Consultant Jane Bollen will explore evidence-based screening tools that help you to recognise older people with, or at risk of, frailty. Jane will challenge your assumptions about ageing and provide useful tips for working effectively with GP nurses and the older population. Jane will also cover treatment options and referral pathways for people who are frail and undernourished.

 

About the speaker:

Jane Bollen is a Primary Healthcare Nurse Consultant for BMP Healthcare Consulting. In this role, Jane works with primary health care teams of all types to help them deliver safe, effective, sustainable care while finding joy in their work. Jane and the GP team set up a Healthy Ageing Clinic, funded by Department of Health via Adelaide PHN and Australian Primary Healthcare Nurses Association (APNA). Jane has been helping educate General Practice teams and healthcare neighbourhoods, in NSW and SA, about Healthy Ageing and Frailty.
