About the webinar:

The NDIS is a complex system that has changed the way dietitians work in many areas of practice. It presents many challenges, but also many opportunities for dietitians to work collaboratively to enable disability clients to thrive. In this upcoming webinar, Accredited Practising Dietitian Natalie Mullins will provide practical strategies all dietitians can use to work effectively together to support NDIS participants in their home, community and in hospital inpatient or outpatient settings. She will include examples of how dietitians can manage the shared care of patients requiring enteral and oral nutrition support, specialist medical nutrition therapy and include how to plan for a successful hospital admission and discharge. Plus, there will be opportunity to discuss the factors that make shared care possible, common barriers and solutions through Q&A.

About the speaker:

Natalie Mullins is the Founder and Lead Dietitian of Pod Dietetics, a team of APD’s providing high quality nutrition care that is weight neutral, trauma informed and neurodiversity affirming. Natalie has a background in clinical dietetics including acute, sub-acute, outpatient and ambulatory services, with specific experience and expertise supporting adults with physical and neurological disability.
