This app is part of the Australian Government’s Swap It, Don’t Stop It campaign. The campaign urges Australians to make simple and healthy lifestyle choices to reduce their risk of chronic disease. We are encouraged to swap big for small, swap fried for fresh and swap sitting for moving.

 

App users can select from a variety of food and physical activity swaps. To help users plan their swaps, swaps are divided into morning, midday, afternoon and night. Users can also:

– Receive friendly alerts on their mobile device to remind them to ‘swap’

– Use an ingredient planner that helps choose healthier food alternatives

– Add healthy food swaps to their personalised shopping list

– Use an activity planner to find a nearby activity

– Chart their progress and earn badges upon reaching milestones
