I got so sick of reading so much rubbish  and hearing so many tall tales about food I decided to stop getting mad and get even by writing my own scientifically based myth-busting book. Although it is researched and evidence-based, it’s also easy to read. I’ve investigated what I call ‘food pariahs’ like sugar, meat and milk; diet myths (lots of those!); food in health and disease; food modern living (like GM, organics, teflon, microwave cooking); and old wives tales. I hope it becomes fodder for kitchen-table discussions and the go-to reference to sort out common arguments!
