An casual/part time opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Dietitian to become a part of a rapidly expanding company. New graduates are welcome to apply, however experience will be valued. The applicant is required to be an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with the DAA. The workload will primarily consist of one-on-one EPC consultations in conjunction with the patients Team Care Arrangement.

The Company
Exact Physiology commenced in late 2012 providing in home exercise physiology services across Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. Services are tailored to the needs of the patient but are primarily focused on chronic disease prevention and management. Services are expanding to a more multidisiplinary approach with the inclusion of Dietetic services.

The Role
Provide dietetic services to patients within their home or affiliated medical center
Facilitate the prevention and management of chronic disease (diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, osteoporosis, intolerances. obesity etc.)
Reporting to and meeting with the senior staff members for professional development
Work in a multidisciplinary sector with other Allied Health Professionals to achieve optimal health for the patient
Provide one-on-one consultations and offer evidenced based nutritional and/or exercise advice
Measuring, assessing and reviewing the patient’s diet history along with interpretating biochemical and anthropometric data
Facilitating and instructing community based nutrition sessions or presenting public presentations
Develop nutritional based programs both private and for the community
