Registration has now re-opened for the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Certificate in Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics.
Successfully run since 1997, this course has been designed exclusively for dietitians and offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and knowledge required to work in this specialty area.
Held over 3-4 days, this course is suitable for qualified dietitians currently working in paediatrics or with an interest in moving into this area.
Successful completion of Unit 1 is required to proceed to Unit 2. However, for the first time, we are now offering dietitians with 3+ years’ experience working in paediatrics the opportunity to complete Unit 2 only, if preferred.
Unit 2. Clinical Paediatric Dietetics. This is a more clinically focused unit that provides training in more specialised areas (such as oncology, cystic fibrosis, and gastroenterology to name a few) that are transferable to all settings of dietetics practice, including private practice and community.
Due to covid-19 restrictions, this course will run online. For further information and enrolment forms please see: www.rch.org.au/nutrition/education/
Registration for unit 2 closes: 5pm 7th May 2021
